President’s Letter – January 2021
Submitted by Dr. Randy Kimmens

Dear ACTEAZ Members,

As 2020 ended with all of its challenges, tribulations and consolation of losses, I believe ACTEAZ will find 2021 to be a year of uncommon opportunity, adaptability and growth. We will continue to strive and support our members through sustained change which will undoubtedly occur throughout our state and nation. These shifts of change will ultimately continue to transform CTE to inspire our students to greater levels of achievement.

Although due to COVID-19 we had to cancel our Midwinter Conference. We are having a virtual event called the “Find Your Pot of Gold” on March 4th and 5th. This will allow us to reconnect to our members and provide you with informational sessions regarding current issues. I do hope you can participate in the March event! You can find more information on this conference here.

Also, you may have noticed some changes to our website. We have worked to redesign our site to meet the needs of our members. ACTEAZ has accepted and merged with CTE Leads and will continue to work with the Leadership Continuum to provide you all with updated information of their Teacher, Administrator, Counselor and Ambassador series. As the website redesign is a complicated project, we ask you have patience as we continue to finalize the changes over the next couple weeks.

Happy Holidays, Stay safe!
Dr. Randy Kimmens
