Show how CTE is shaping your future! Enter the CTE Month Poster Contest and highlight the impact of hands-on learning, skill-building, and career readiness happening in Arizona CTE.

The contest will have different prompts for each grade level categories: eCTE Career Exploration Middle School students and High School students. Students can only enter as an individual.

Crack the code to your future! Every career is a mystery waiting to be solved. Your mission: investigate a career that intrigues you and present your findings with a detective-themed poster. Research your career using the Arizona Department of Education Early Career Exploration website (VIEW HERE)

Poster Requirements:

Clearly name the job or career you are investigating.
Visual Graphic: Include a graphic of the job/career (can be a person working or a job setting). Note: Any non-original vector graphics, photography, or illustrations must be licensed or properly sourced on the poster.
The Evidence: List (3) facts about the career (e.g. daily responsibilities, salary ranges, or the related high school CTE program).
The Tools: Identify the equipment, software, or skills this job requires.
Dimensions: 18” (W) x 24” (H)
Source Citation: “Source: azed.gov/cte/ecte-career-exploration” written on the poster.
Logos: Include the official CTE Month®, eCTE, and Arizona CTE logos.

Anyone featured in the poster must have a signed release form on file. Students must have a parent’s or guardian’s signature on the release form. All forms must be submitted for the poster to be accepted. If forms are not submitted, the entry will be disqualified. Poster Policy: ACTEAZ retains the copyright on any submitted material and reserves the right to use the material in any way or format it sees fit. ACTEAZ is not responsible for lost, damaged, incorrectly encoded, incorrectly uploaded, mislabeled or misdirected entries. Entries will not be returned and will become the property of ACTEAZ. Poster entries cannot be used for any commercial activity.

Prizes

First Prize:

$50 awarded to the student
Poster will be published on the ACTEAZ website and media outlets
Poster will be showcased at the 2027 Midwinter Leadership Conference
Poster will be printed and showcased at the 2027 Connection Conference
Printed copies provided to student’s school

Second Place:

$25 awarded to the student
Poster will be published on the ACTEAZ website and media outlets

What inspires you to get involved in CTE? Create a design that will show your peers how a CTE program gives you a head start on your future, your career, and your goals. Feel free to draw directly from your own personal journey—whether it’s hands-on lab work, an industry certification, a mentorship, or discovering your future career path.

Poster Requirements:
