Marana CTE Students Exposed to the Jewelry Industry
Tucson News 4 recently did a story on Marana CTE students who are on their way to becoming jewelry industry certified.
“Over 30 kids from Marana and Mountain View high schools toured the AGTA Gem Fair on Wednesday where they got a hands-on experience of what it takes to operate the worldwide gem business.
The Diamond Council of America (DCA) has partnered with the Marana Unified School District, offering basic jewelry sales certificate courses. The DCA hopes to attract more people to work in the gem business through its career readiness initiative.”
