Fellows Program Responsibilities

The ACTEAZ Fellows Program is a two-year leadership experience designed for those ready to commit to becoming catalysts for change in CTE. Fellows engage in high-impact learning, leadership opportunities, and community-building experiences—all designed to help you grow as a visionary leader.
Fellows are expected to actively engage in the following:
- Required attendance at three CTE Issue Days
- Develop and implement a personal leadership action plan to advance CTE in your sphere of influence
- Participate in the ACTEAZ Board Retreat and attend at least three ACTEAZ Board meetings
- Attend both the ACTEAZ Mid-Winter and Summer Conferences to engage in statewide professional learning
- Support ACTEAZ social media efforts by sharing insights and program highlights
- Assist in coordinating the Mid-Winter Student Scholarship Auction
- Participate in the review of student scholarships and awards to support CTE learners
- Complete the CliftonStrengths® assessment to gain deeper personal insight
- Contribute to the ACTEAZ Newsletter
- Present a session at the ACTEAZ Summer Conference to showcase your growth and expertise
- Participate in monthly virtual check-ins
- Pursue leadership opportunities in your affiliate organization and within ACTEAZ
- Attend at least one national-level event over the two years, including:
- ACTE National Policy Seminar (NPS)
- ACTE Vision Conference
- ACTE/NCLA Best Practices Conference
- ACTE Region V Conference
These experiences expand your influence, deepen your network, and connect you to the national CTE movement.
