Fellows Program Responsibilities

Your Commitment. Your Growth. Your Legacy.

The ACTEAZ Fellows Program is a two-year leadership experience designed for those ready to commit to becoming catalysts for change in CTE. Fellows engage in high-impact learning, leadership opportunities, and community-building experiences—all designed to help you grow as a visionary leader.

Fellows are expected to actively engage in the following:

  • Required attendance at three CTE Issue Days
  • Develop and implement a personal leadership action plan to advance CTE in your sphere of influence
  • Participate in the ACTEAZ Board Retreat and attend at least three ACTEAZ Board meetings
  • Attend both the ACTEAZ Mid-Winter and Summer Conferences to engage in statewide professional learning
  • Support ACTEAZ social media efforts by sharing insights and program highlights
  • Assist in coordinating the Mid-Winter Student Scholarship Auction
  • Participate in the review of student scholarships and awards to support CTE learners
  • Complete the CliftonStrengths® assessment to gain deeper personal insight
  • Contribute to the ACTEAZ Newsletter
  • Present a session at the ACTEAZ Summer Conference to showcase your growth and expertise
  • Participate in monthly virtual check-ins
  • Pursue leadership opportunities in your affiliate organization and within ACTEAZ
  • Attend at least one national-level event over the two years, including:
    • ACTE National Policy Seminar (NPS)

These experiences expand your influence, deepen your network, and connect you to the national CTE movement.
