Program Management

Event Details:

  • Level 4
  • This class is designed for CTE teachers in at least their 2nd year of teaching
  • Participants must work in a state-approved CTE program
  • Option B approved course
  • Please bring a laptop

Lunch: Lunch will be provided by MICTED. There is also an on site vending machine system and refrigerator available for anyone who wants to pack a lunch.

What constitutes an “approved program?”  Come and learn in depth what is required to ensure that your program is in compliance and eligible to receive Federal, State, CTED, and JTED funding. You will leave with the skills needed to manage the many facets of running a premier CTE program, including: purchasing, collection of data, reports, advisory committees, and program assessments, attracting and retaining non-traditional students, and more.

Upon successful completion of the course, which includes submission of homework, participants will receive an ADE certificate for 15 professional development clock hours, which equates to one (1) semester hour of coursework.
