Mastering the Art of Motivation

This is an advanced course that builds upon foundational classroom management skills. This course is designed for high school educators to equip them with the philosophy and practical tools needed to cultivate a motivating and empowering environment within their Career and Technical Education (CTE) classrooms and laboratories. Grounded in Arizona’s Professional Skills Standards, the course serves as a guiding framework for establishing clear rtJles and procedures that foster student engagement and success. Educators will be trained to instill a Growth Mindset among their students, nurturing resilience and a passion for learning. Throughout the course, teachers will learn gradual strategies to delegate responsibility to their students, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey.

Upon successful completion of the course, which includes submission of homework, participants will receive an ADE certificate for 15 professional development clock hours, which equates to one (1) semester hour of coursework.
