Instructional Best Practices Day 1

January 25, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$25

This 2-day course is an introduction to the design and use of CTE curriculum.  You will outline the 6 parts to a CTED lesson, focusing on the design and delivery of relevant and engaging lessons. Special emphasis is placed on writing clear, aligned and measureable objective(s), a variety of methods for structuring learning to meet objective(s), incorporation of active participation strategies, developing a strong introduction to each lesson, and closure to assess learning.  On day two, learn how to design bellwork, an introduction for both the class and the lab and a closure for both the class and the lab.  These strategies will be woven and modeled throughout the entire course.   This course is excellent for every teacher! Ace your next evaluation!

The third class in this series is Classroom Management and is also open for registration.

All participants who complete the class and whose district is a member of the Curriculum Consortium will receive password-protected access to the AZ CTE Curriculum Consortium Connection with its bank of outstanding lesson plans and/or other valuable resources for CTE programs written by Arizona CTE teachers.

There is no homework for this class.  You will only receive 1 ADE Credit once you attend all 15 hours of class.
