DESCRIPTION:Event Details:\n\nLevel 3\nThis class is designed for all CTE teachers\nPlease bring your Scope & Sequence\nOption B approved course\n\nThis course will explore the nine Professional Skills identified by the Arizona Department of Education in collaboration with industry. Participants will identify them\, use created rubrics to assess their use\, explore strategies to embed them across their curriculum\, and methods to evaluate students. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, which includes submission of homework\, participants will receive an ADE certificate for 15 professional development clock hours\, which equates to one (1) semester hour of coursework.

Participants will explore various aspects of the education profession\, including terminology\, characteristics of professional conduct\, and classroom management strategies. Through a detailed examination\, participants will develop clear and enforceable rules that promote respect\, responsibility\, and safety. Participants will examine the role of consequences in shaping student behavior and promoting accountability while creating and implementing consistent procedures to streamline classroom activities and maximize instructional time.
