These strategies will be woven across the entire workshop. All participants whose districts are members of the AZ CTE Curriculum Consortium and who complete both days of this workshop will receive password-protected access to the Curriculum Connection with its 3\,500+ bank of outstanding lesson plans for more than 20 CTE programs written by Arizona CTE teachers. DESCRIPTION:This class will be held IN PERSON on June 22 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at START @ WEST-MEC Presentation Room.  5405 N 99th Ave\, Glendale AZ  85305.\nThis class is designed to help participants develop a laboratory improvement plan including management\, clean-up procedures\, safety procedures\, and meeting monitoring agency mandates.  Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate their CTE labs and develop a management system for their CTE labs.  Participants\, who complete the lab safety course\, have the opportunity to earn 15 CEU hours approved by ADE to be used for moving from provisional to standard CTE certificate or for recertification hours. \nNOTE:  There is homework associated with this class if you wish to earn (1) ADE Credit.  To meet the 15-hour requirement\, participants will also complete two related assignments and submit them via email. In addition\, participants will meet one additional time to tour a high school industrial technology program.
