DESCRIPTION:Event Details: \n\nLevel 3\nNo prerequisite\nThis class is designed for all CTE teachers\nOption B approved course\nSession Dates: January 29\, 2026 – March 12\, 2026\nParticipants are required to attend a Zoom Kick-Off Meeting on Thursday\, January 29\, from 4-5 pm\n\nThis asynchronous online class allows you to learn at your own pace. You can access lectures\, readings\, and other learning materials to complete assignments and other activities at any time during the six-week period. A significant benefit to asynchronous classes is\, of course\, the flexibility. \nThis interactive class is designed to ensure success in the formation and use of industry advisory councils. During this class\, you will learn how to form a committee\, how to conduct useful advisory council meetings\, and how to use advisory council members for continuous program improvement. \nThe class will close on March 12 at midnight. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, which includes submission of homework\, participants will receive an ADE certificate for 15 professional development clock hours\, which equates to one (1) semester hour of coursework.
