SUMMARY:Rubrics to Increase Student Success
DESCRIPTION:CTE courses are driven by student-created projects. Rubrics are an evaluation tool that can increase the quality of those student projects while simultaneously giving the teacher a quicker\, fairer way to assess their quality. Come to this workshop with one or two student projects that you would like to assess more easily\, and you will leave with an excellent rubric that you personalized for your classroom and the confidence and skills to create additional rubrics for the other student projects in your curriculum. \nThis Premier Series Course is only available to CURRENT teachers. \nADE Credit Available: Yes – 1 Semester Hour (SH) Credit\, Satisfies Professional Knowledge (PK) deficiencies \nCourse Length: 1 day + homework \nDate: April 30\, 2024 \nTime:  8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch \nLocation: \nPima JTED @ Master Pieces\nBuilding 1 – PD Classroom\n2855 W Master Pieces Drive\nTucson\, Arizona 85741 \nLink: https://infohub.pimajted.org/events/331 \nPlease provide your mailing address\, a good contact number\, the CTE program you teach\, and your school district to mandrade@pimajted.org. \nPlease note: For teachers within the 14-member districts of Pima JTED\, there is no charge for the Premier Series courses.
