DESCRIPTION:This class will be held IN PERSON on June 10 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at WEST-MEC Corporate Offices.  5487 N 99th Ave\, Glendale AZ  85305. \nPerformance Literacy is the partner class for Technical Reading.  This second course allows teachers to gain a deeper understanding of writing and speaking standards\, identify how they currently use them in their programs\, and determine specific steps they can take to increase their use of these standards as well as their students’ success with them. \nThe technical literacy standards are skill-driven and a perfect fit for our CTE programs’ focus on career AND college readiness as our students complete their programs. \nPrerequisite: Completion of Technical Reading course to receive (1) ADE Credit.
