DESCRIPTION:This 10 hour training is divided between 3 days.  You must attend all 3 session to receive your OSHA 10 certification. \nThis class will be held via Zoom.  It is a requirement of ASU OSHA that you have your camera on during the whole class\, are actively engaged and complete the participation packet.  You must also pass all 9 quizzes.  The participation packet will be mailed to you the week prior to the class. \nThis class is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers information about their rights\, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify\, abate\, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter.   \nThe OSHA 10 certification does not expire.

DESCRIPTION:This class will be held IN PERSON on June 1 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at WEST-MEC Corporate Offices.  5487 N 99th Ave\, Glendale AZ  85305\n  \nThe CTE Delivery Model is THE premier educational system for all students. \nCTE essentials will give you an overview of each of the four components of this outstanding model\, and allow you time to process how you can incorporate each element into all of your instructional units as you plan your program’s calendar.  It will also provide some insight into the many roles a CTE teacher plays in the course of any school day\, where to find support to meet those expectations\, and how to transition between each of them.  CTE Essentials is truly a must have course for the teacher who is looking to build a strong program for students. \nNOTE:  There will be (1) ADE credit with successful completion of required homework.

DESCRIPTION:This class will be held IN PERSON on June 1 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at START @ WEST-MEC Presentation Room.  5405 N 99th Ave\, Glendale AZ  85305\n \nManaging a CTE student organization (CTSO) can be rewarding but overwhelming!  This course is designed to provide you with the skills you need to do the job effectively\, and without pulling your hair out! In this hands-on workshop\, participants will cover event organization and management\, legal and ethical issues\, ADE requirements\, integrating CTSOs into the curriculum\, fundraising\, recognition events and more. You will have an opportunity to network with\, gain insights and share resources with fellow CTE Teachers. \nNOTE:  There is homework associated with this class if you wish to earn (1) ADE Credit.  Participants who participate in the course and who complete one follow-up assignment will have the opportunity to earn 15 CEU hours approved by ADE.
