DESCRIPTION:Level 3\nRecommended Prerequisites: Completion of Foundations of Classroom Management and Bridging Proficiency in Classroom Management\nThis class is designed for teachers in at least their 2nd year\n\nNOTE: Registration for this course will close January\, 6th 2027. If wanting to register after the deadline\, please email PD@west-mec.org \nThis is an advanced course that builds upon foundational classroom management skills. This course is designed for high school educators to equip them with the philosophy and practical tools needed to cultivate a motivating and empowering environment within their Career and Technical Education (CTE) classrooms and laboratories. Grounded in Arizona’s Professional Skills Standards\, the course serves as a guiding framework for establishing clear rtJles and procedures that foster student engagement and success. Educators will be trained to instill a Growth Mindset among their students\, nurturing resilience and a passion for learning. Throughout the course\, teachers will learn gradual strategies to delegate responsibility to their students\, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, which includes submission of homework\, participants will receive an ADE certificate for 15 professional development clock hours\, which equates to one (1) semester hour of coursework.
