Fellows Program

The purpose of the Fellowship Program is to establish a leadership training program for Career and Technical Educators in Arizona. This fellowship program will provide an opportunity for career and technical educators to become familiar with and participate in policy making processes. Policy makers use these policies to develop and implement laws, regulations, and other public policies at the local, state and federal levels. In addition, this fellowship experience will assist individuals in further developing leadership skills in Career and Technical Education and involvement in professional associations.

Fellows Criteria

Fellowships are limited to ACTEAZ members who have at least one year of work in or around Career and Technical Education. Applicants must have the support of their CTE Director and Principal/Dean. Fellows will be asked for a three-year commitment, with one year of intensive involvement. Second and Third year Fellows are asked to serve on an ACTEAZ committee, run for an affiliate office, or run for an ACTEAZ office.
